This is unfinished software
You're getting a pre-release build. It may misbehave, and it may change or disappear between versions. Please don't use it on a show, a session or anything else you can't afford to have go wrong. It's provided as-is, with no warranty and no liability on our part for what it does.
Please keep it to yourself
Don't pass the build on, and don't post publicly about it — no reviews, no benchmarks, no screenshots or clips of the interface — until we've released it. If you'd like to share it with a colleague, just ask and we'll almost certainly say yes; we'd simply like to know who has it.
Your time limit
Preview licences expire — usually 60 days after we issue them, and the date is always in your account. What happens then depends on the product. XRB IsoVox's Mac app and Audio Unit pass your audio through unprocessed — no dips, no silence — until a current key is entered. XRB LinDyn goes silent until a current key is entered. In every case the change takes effect the next time the plugin or app is loaded, not part-way through a session. Separately, XRB IsoVox's Mac app and Audio Unit include one free 7-day trial per Mac. It starts the first time you open the app, or the plugin's window in a host, on a Mac with no licence, and it needs an internet connection once, to start it. Reinstalling doesn't restart it, and a key that lapses doesn't start one. Without a valid licence or a running trial, they pass audio through unprocessed.
If you're still testing
Tell us and we'll extend the same key. The plugins don't yet check back with us on their own, so an extension only reaches your copy when you re-activate it: in XRB IsoVox, open the app, choose Licence… from the app menu, paste the same key and press Activate (the button reads Re-activate until the old date has passed); XRB LinDyn hides its licence bar while a key is current, so once it has gone quiet, click ENTER LICENCE KEY and paste the same key again.
Feedback
If you tell us something is wrong, or suggest a change, we'd like to be free to act on it and ship the result without owing you a royalty. Nothing you send us becomes confidential to us — so please don't send us anything you need kept secret.
Either of us can stop
You can leave the programme whenever you like. We may withdraw access at any point, usually because a build has been superseded. Withdrawing stops downloads and new activations straight away, but a copy that's already activated carries on until its expiry date, because the plugins don't check back with us yet — so if we ask you to remove a build, please do. Confidentiality outlives the programme; everything else ends with it.
No sale
Nothing here is a purchase, and no payment is taken. Preview access doesn't entitle you to the released version, though we'll look after early testers.
